It's said that love has no boundaries, it's free of all
barriers but when it comes to reality it's realized falling in love is a no
cakewalk. This situation can be seen in '2 States' an upcoming Indian romantic
comedy film. The film casts new and successful faces Arjun Kapoor and Alia
Bhatt, who were recently spotted their film in the city of Nagpur.
2 States is a love story of a couple who belongs to two
extreme states of India. Krish Malhotra (Arjun Kapoor) and Ananya Swaminathan
(Alia Bhatt) meet at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and during the
course of time, fall in love with each other. Problems gradually begin creeping
up after the couple takes a decision to get married as Krish belongs to a
Punjabi family from Delhi whereas Ananya comes from a Tamil Brahmin household
from Chennai. The clash of cultures puts forth a lot of obstacles, which they
both must fight in order to end up together.
The movie is based on young and brilliant author Chetan
Bhagat's novel 'Two States' and is directed by Abhishek Varman. It is produced
by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar.
