Dr Snehalata Prasad dazzles with her solo 'abstract-realistic' painting exhibition

Dr Snehalata Parsad, the Rajasthan born artist who has made Hyderabad her home after marriage returned to Delhi after two years to hold a solo exhibition of paintings showcasing her canvasses showcasing 'abstract-realistic' paintings that depict human emotions.

Entitled as 'SPRING 2014', her exhibition, which was inaugurated at the Progressive Art Gallery in Defense Colony, is part of her Real Emotion range of works. Essentially an artist who celebrates life and human relations through her myriad paintings, encompassing different themes like human-character, culture, tradition, nature, landscape, flora and fauna, Dr Prasad draws one in instantly with these paintings. These sensitively painted creations show nature in all its vivid, pristine and colourful beauty. One does not have to be an evolved connoisseur to be appreciative of her art.

Said Dr Snehalata Prasad, "My art comes from the soul, and since all mankind is connected at a subliminal level, there is an instant connect with my work." This was certainly what most guests, comprising of the who's who of the art world, who attended the inauguration, felt as well. The people of Delhi have a great opportunity to check out her work in all its splendor since this exhibition will run till the 21st of March.
