Designer Tanieya Khanuja’s collection celebrates femininity and sexuality at WIFW

Designer Tanieya Khanuja’s presented her Autumn-Winter 2014 collection at the ongoing  Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week being held in the capital at Pragati Maidan. Her collection celebrates the very essence of femininity and sexuality.

"Without vanity, without coquetry, without curiosity, in a word, woman would not be woman", said Victor Hugo. Celebrating the very essence of her femininity and sexuality, Tanieya's muse has many nuances to her, a titillating contrast, like leather and lace...She strides through life with an understanding of the self like never before, a war cry in tandem with the staccato of her high heels, falling more and more in love with herself with each step. She doesn't need a lover...she is her own Queen..her whims, her Queendom... a Pandora's box of emotions and possibilities wrapped up in the armor of fragility and tenacity”.

“The whole collection has been accessorized very grundgily and edgy to give a very futuristic look. Its a very exclusive collection made with various stitching techniques and materials like Wood, Hand cut Sequins, thread work, Cross Stitch, in fabrics like PVC, Italian Silk jersey and Organza, etc.. The garments have lot of transparency and fabrics like Chantley laces have been used to line the garments to show the depth of each garment. The collection has structured garments and armored look. The collection has well fitted structured garments like peplum belts, baby doll dresses, knee length and calf length dresses, etc.”, said Designer Tanieya Khanuja..

The colors pallete of  Tanieya’s AW ’14 collection has Mustard, nude, deep Blue, and Black.
