Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week Day 2 brings more glitter and glamour

The DAY 2 of Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week opened with exquisite luxury resort couture line from SOIREE COUTURE by Disha and Menaka. The ensembles are a beautiful collection of hand embellished gowns, embroidered palazzos, catsuit inspired outfits and dresses.

The silhouettes are inspired by the various aspects of the lily, which forms the crux and the keynote of the collection. The garments are airy and flowy, occasionally voluminous and three dimensional with fabric manipulation.

Followed by Lalita & Amit ‘DAKSH’ a label launched in 2007 by the Rohtak based designer duo. Both the designers have a strong personal vision of their design range, which has been reinforced by their hands-on approach, and by their insight into how a garment can transform the person wearing it.

DAKSH clothing is striking for its use of exceptional, sensuous fabrics coupled with creative possibilities of various fabrics.

Fresh, sexy and beautifully wearable, DAKSH clothing draws on the romance of the past to create an elegant, contemporary vision of what women want to wear right now.


APHRODITE by Prabhat Kumar is done in highly soft materials, environment friendly leather mixed with the strongest of emotions giving you a sense of true luxury in itself.  Prabhat Kumar started career in designing with reality show ,”lets design season 3”, followed by Lakme Fashion Week , Summer resort, and the latest being Bangalore fashion week this season. 


The closing show was by REHANE, who hails from of the honourable Khaleeli family, is known for her use of rich, classy fabrics and culture conscious prints which come together to create a graceful, yet exquisite ensembles.


Her design philosophy is a perfect culmination of bold yet delicate. Rehane’s collection for Blenders Pride Bangalore fashion Week brought together a picturesque combination of flamboyance, edgy cuts, multiple hues and ornamentation.
