10th Edition of Bangalore Fashion Week begins at Bangalore

10th Edition of Bangalore Fashion Week Summer/Showers 2014 (BPBFW) in association with Blenders Pride kick started in the city amid much glamour and glitter. The four day fashion extravaganza will run upto 26th Jan 2014 at Crowne Plaza – Electronic City, Bangalore in which an eclectic mix of Indian designers will be showcasing their collection which includes names like Michelle Salins, Rehane, Aslam Khan, Lalita & Amit, Ramesh Dembla, Shloka Sudhakar, Tania Sagwan, and Manoviraj Khosla.

The opening day of BPBFW started with the fabulous TR technique work by Vidya Vivek. Her collection ‘Chisel’ architecture inspired collection, 3D projections of nature and monuments are the main inspiration for this range.

The designer label ‘gkb’ by Gunkiran Kaur displayed a collection of ethnic wear with a blend to suit the needs of the modern women. Michelle Salins collection is fun, freckled and for any woman who loves sun shine.

The Day 1 closed with the showcase of Jattinn Kochhar’s Me & I collection. The collection reflects duality in lives. The dark side coexisting with the bright side just like a mirror reflection.  The collection has been conceptualized and designed keeping the eclectic and truly urban taste of Bangalore city.

The Blenders Pride Reserve Collection Lounge at Bangalore Fashion Week Summer/Showers 2014 will host post and pre show parties and promises to be ‘the’ place at venue.
