promoter Heena Kalantri (who represents labels such as Ravish Kapoor Designs,
Bateel, Amber by Ankur Batra ) jointly
present "Boudoir" a Trunk Show venture that will take place at
regular intervals, bringing curated collections and limited editions by
Designers who are not readily available in Mumbai and have made a name for
themselves in the national and international arena.
The first ever "Boudoir" Trunk Show is being
presented in Delhi on the 17TH October at The Lodhi. Boudoir as the name
suggests is the like the private, personal dressing space for a woman.A space
where she is comfortable in her own skin and selects her statement making looks
for the day.Boudoir brings you creations that would be hard to come across at
retail stores in Delhi. Each of these have been handpicked by the duo, to
unveil a formula that spells personal attention to detail, customized service
and a highly talented line up designer names.
Boudoir, the Trunk Show stands apart from the myriad
exhibitions and shows that take place in the city, since it is a more select
space with fewer but larger stalls allowing guests to browse at leisure and
even try out garments in special "Boudoir" cubicles, making the
shopping experience more luxurious and of course comfortable.
The first edition of "Boudoir" will showcase
limited edition labels such as Luxury resortwear and evening wear by Ash Haute
Couture, Menswear by Kunal Tanna, Indian wear by Neha Mehra, Autumn Winter’13
Collection by KanikaKedia, bold and statement making pieces of jewelry by
Designer GaurikaModi, Anarkalis, Sarees,
Lehangas by bollywood designer Arpita
Mehta, Luxury Home decor apparels and
accessories by Riviere and many more.
“Children, it’s bedtime,” now has a whole new ring to it. It
sounds a little like the ‘ting-a-ling’of an ice cream van announcing its
arrival. Driving this van, with the word POPSICLE attractively painted on it
are two mums from Mumbai who have magically made ‘bedtime for kids’ as enticing
as sugary goodness.
Gaurikamodi an upcoming jewelry designer, brings to you BOLD
and STATEMENT making pieces of jewelry made from semi-precious stones. The
jewelry is a fusion that can be worn both with modern and Indian outfits.
Each piece in her contemporary-vintage, garden-inspired
Indianwear showcase is replete with wearable luxury, stylish cuts, trendy
embroidery and dainty silhouettes. ‘The Violet Collection’ is understated glam
and perfect for a bridal trousseau, says Bollywood designer Arpita Mehta.
