House Of Chic by Jinali Sutariya And Heena Surani At Lakme Fashion Week Winter 2013

From the ‘House of Chic’ by Jinali Sutariya and Heena Surani came the “Dark Angel” collection at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013. The accessory line was a mix of skulls, crosses, black ties and laces - very punk and Gothic in nature and aimed at the modern day princess who has outgrown her girly desires.

Manufactured in Los Angeles and Turkey with Swarovski crystals and imported from Germany, the jewellery made a striking fashion statement. Made from an alloy with an antique gold finish, the eye-catching pieces were created for formal wear. Adding linen, lace and gunmetal paintings, the designer pair showcased a dark fantasy world of jewellery.

Intricately crafted hoops for the ears in gold, necklace with multi pendants, chokers with pointed tendrils, cuffs with crosses and hand ornaments with finger covers - the collection was very New Age in design and concept. Tasseled stone necklaces, shoulder dusters, multi bracelets, beaded skull evening bag and clutches completed the glittering line of jewellery and accessories.

Ending the show was former Miss India Universe and actor, Pooja Gupta who modelled a very unusual body vest sparkling with skulls and spikes.

When it comes to accessories that are outstanding, the “Dark Angel” collection by Jinali Sutariya and Heena Surani made an exotic impression on the ramp.
